League,
division, team, player and non-player
membership is ABSOLUTELY FREE for the forseeable future whether
sponsored or not.
MST
provides a friendly site to help leagues
manage and present organization, sponsors,
weblinks, officials, documents, rosters,
schedules, facilities, communications, and
statistics. Each League, Division,
Team and Player has a webpage presenting
its specific information as well as news,
events, games, results, and
messages. Administration and league
information is easily built and
edited by a league
administrator. If desired these
admin duties can be spread among several
individuals with specific
authorities. Leagues consist of
divisions, divisions consist of teams and
teams consist of players. Fans or
other non-playing individuals are members
and can be associated with a player, team,
division or league. Associations
allow any individual quick access to his
information.
Communication
Logging on
All members have a unique
UserName and Password. After logging
on the first time, this information is
kept and future logons are
automatic. If loggng on from a
different computer the UserName and
Password will need to be entered.
Messaging
Messaging provides
an easy method to communicate to all users
by league, division, team, or
individual. If practice is cancelled
a single message directed to the team
notifies everyone involved. A single
message to all league members could
announce a league picnic. This powerful
tool can save many hours of "getting
the word out".
Games
Games are scheduled on
MST. Schedules, locations and
results are displayed on each team and
players page. Division standings are
displayed on the league, division and team
pages. A game (practice or
tournament) may be scheduled and results
kept but excluded in the standings
calculation. Games are grouped by
seasons.
Events
Events can be entered by a
league, divisions or team. They are
used to schedule non game activities such
as tournaments, practices, parties,
outings, etc. They are always visible when
viewing a league, divison, team or player
page. Events have a title,
date/time, duration to be displayed and
can contain simple text and/or link to a
document or website. Events can also
be categorized by national, state, city or
local interest. This feature allows
others to search for events by importance.
News
News is available for
leagues, divisions and teams. It can
be used to publish newsletter type
information on an ongoing basis.
News can be simple text or link to an
article on the web. It has a start and an
end date so it can be cleared
automatically.
Message Boards
Message boards provide a
forum for people with like interests to
converse. There will be boards by
sport and general interest.
Information
Each league, division,
team and player page can contain general
information including address, contacts,
general description, weblinks, logos,
officials, pictures, and documents.
This information describes the league
entity and provides members or visitors a
method of learning about or reaching that
entity.
Each member has the option
to make their personal information such as
phone number and Email available on-line
or not.
Documents
MST provides
leagues, divisions and teams a home to
store and present official
documents. This can include
Charters, National and Local rules,
etc. Documents can be uploaded to
MST.
Links
Many leagues and teams
already have websites. MST provides
easy links from your MST page back to your
websites.
Statistics
Player statistics can be
entered and stored on MST. They are
displayed on the players page.
Statistics to be kept are decided on at
the league level and are available to all
players.
Administration
MST provides an easy to
use interface allowing administrators to
build their league structures and input
league, division, team and player
information. The administration is
layered allowing leagues to distribute the
admin duties. Examples are players
can enter their own personal
information. Teams could enter their
information and enter game results.
A person may be allowed to enter news
items for a team but not change team
information or game results.
Important - Messaging
MST does not police member
actions. It is the responsibility of
the League administrators to keep
objectionable material from their league
pages. Therefore the League Master
has the responsibility and ability to turn
off a members privilege to send messages
or reply to message boards.

Sponsors
League,
Team and Page Sponsors get first 3 months
FREE. MST provides
sponsors a low-cost, high traffic web
solution maintainable without the need for
web designers or specialists.
MST
enables sponsors to easily manage their
business site while keeping close
connections between their sponsored teams,
existing and potential customers. MST
provides a mechanism to have a very
affordable website, that can be easily
kept up to date and encourages traffic
from sponsored teams, players and
customers. MST provides for
five options of sponsorship:
League - associated
with league members and customers
Team - associated with team players
and customers
Page - not associated with a team but
has customers
Event - associated with specific event
Site - general sponsor
associated by sport and/or location and
can have customers
All sponsors except Event
sponsors have a webpage including sponsor
information, links to sponsors'
websites, specials, news and events.
They have messaging capabilities to their
teams and customers. These
sites are easily maintained by the sponsor
or his designee. All except
event sponsors will have banners, with a
simple banner generated
automatically. Event sponsors are
just that they pay for special events
displayed on MST.
Banners
Sponsor information is
provided by their webpage and traffic is
directed to these pages by a banner
system. Their are two levels of
banners. Site banners are located in
the top section of the MST header.
Team, league and page sponsor banners are
present at the top of the detailed section
on each page.
Team sponsor banners
are presented anytime a sponsored team or
player page is viewed putting the viewer
1-click away from the sponsors
information. Players must go
to these pages to get their messages,
schedules and game results.
League Sponsor
banners are rotated at all League and
Division views as well as unsponsored
teams and players.
Page sponsor
banners are rotated to viewers in the same
general area as the sponsor.
Site sponsor
banners are rotated for all views and can
be directed to a specific audience by
city, state or sport.
Customers
Team. League, Page and
Site Sponsors can have customers
associated to them. When a customer
is logged on he is taken directly to the
sponsor's page.
Offerings
A sponsor may list his
offerings. Examples are Pool, Darts,
Live Music, Food, Trivia, etc. Any
viewer can search for a sponsor by
offering, city, state and city section
(for large cities). An
example search may be for all
sponsors having Shuffleboard in Houston,
TX West side of town.

present items that repeat ( pool
tournament every Thursday) or need special
attention. Example: Saturday
9/28/2000 Happy Hour 5-9.
News
